Is “Heroes” Arthur Petrelli Still Alive?
If you are a “Heroes” fan, you know that Arthur “Dallas” Petrelli, the father of Nathan and Peter (and thus the grandfather of cheerleader Claire), is dead. Or is he?
The rumor that Arthur might make an appearance on the coming season of the show has been circulating the Internet for months. Now, sources have told EW that Robert Forster has been signed to play Arthur Petrelli. If you remember, Arthur and Linderman original were to work together to save the world, but Linderman told Nathan that Arthur became disillusioned and killed himself.
With “Heroes” using time travel, there is no way to know if we will see Arthur in present day, through flashback, or in one of Hiro’s trips. And, the bigger question – will he use his powers (which are supposed to rival Linderman’s) for good or evil?
The first hour of season 2 was premiered at San Diegos’ Comic-Con with no hint of Arthur’s presence, so perhaps he will make an appearance in the second hour of the season premiere.
